Apartment

So I found an apartment. It's in between Shinjuku and Yayogi. It's going to cost me 83,000 yen a month which works out to less than I actually budgeted for. I paid the deposit today but unfortunately I can't move in until tomorrow at 5:30. I was hoping to move some stuff in today since tonight was supposed to be my last night at the hotel so I had to extend it another night.


I went running this morning and it was freezing. Brought the camera with me and took some pics of a 7th century shrine which was pretty damn nice. I'll put them up later. The clip that holds my screen to the rest of the computer broke on the left side. Metal snapped so I took it apart and have it fitted with zip ties. I'll have to order the part from Dell because this won't be lasting 3 months.

Found a 120 yen ramen shop. Ramen here is a take a bowl of broth and throw different shit in it type dish. Mine was a bowl of soup with noodles, some pork, cabbage and a hard boiled egg...nothing great but it was cheap and filling. Got 8 dumplings for 120Y too. That could have been the most filling meal of my life for less than 5 dollars. Burned the hell out of my tounge but I'll be going back tomorrow.
