The First Post

1/7/07 11:21pm est - I can't sleep so I decided to finally make the blog. Approx 9 days until my flight out. Hopefully my CC gets turned back on so I can book my hotel room, otherwise I'll be sleeping on a park bench in central Tokyo.

Ohhh yea, so the point of the blog is really to keep the friends and family members who want to know whats going on from calling me all the time (yes you mom). Yea...but really it'll be an account of my activities which hopefully can keep me as connected to everyone as they want to be (plus I'm not writing 7 emails about the same damn thing, I am on vacation); while, at some point, serving as a scrap book for a little sentimental reminiscing (Tim is that proper use of the semicolon? I always get confused on when to use it).

Off to sleep.
