ok, so I'm lazy

so I'm lazy...likes that's news to any of you. I know it's been a long time but i still don't feel like writing a lot, so I won't.

Been training with Ryan again for his upcoming fight. Almost all the guys at Yoshida Dojo have fights coming up next month so the place is very serious and focused.

Went to a festival in Asakusa a couple days ago...i took pics and even a video of a little parade and I would post them but I'm too lazy.

Ryan sent me the following email and there are a bunch of people who read the blog who are into the sport so I figured I'd post it as a reminder:

Fish market

Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday.

Duffy arrived and he's been sleeping on a mattress on my floor.

Wednessday me, Duff, and 2 other house-mates Austin (from Wisconsin) and Seb (from England) went to the fish market in Tskuji. We left at 5am and got there by 6. The first 2 pics are from the exterior market that sells to the public, it's huge. So huge that I don't see how any both can differentiate from the others, every third booth is selling the same thing, and there's thousands of booths. I guess it's so demand driven it doesn't matter.

These pics are from the exterior market which is like a grid around the auctions.

The next couple pics are from the auction itself. It runs just like any other auction...everyone yelling and screaming and flapping their arms. The public is not allowed to buy at the auctions.

Here is Seb with a recently sold fish.

Fish at a shop cut up

Austin with octopus

Sushi at 7am = great
sake at 7am = even better

Nice face Duffy

Afterwards we walked around more of the area surrounding the fish market then went home and went to sleep.
